Transformation LI quick guide

1.Adding TLI modules to your Logic Pro project.

There are two ways to add modules to your Logic Pro project:  Copy/Paste & Import.

Copy/Paste module from environment, you can also use drag & drop.

Import environment layer via import options in environment.

2.Connecting cables.

To control the TLI modules create a cable from your Physical Input to the module and then

create a cable to the Sequencer Input or create a cable to a Track Automation Splitter.

This Track Automation Splitter is a Transformer with settings ‘Track Automation Splitter’

Create a cable from this Track Automation Splitter to the Channel Strip you want to automate.

A Track Automation Splitter is needed if you want to capture your automation.

3.Explaining the Transformation LI functions.

TLI has an ON/OFF button to turn ON/OFF the module, the input signal will no longer be send to

the output.

The LEARN button supports control change, fader and note messages, turn off LEARN when done.

These can also be set manually.

Bypass will directly route the input to the output.

INPUT is the input monitor window, clicking on it will clear the window.

LO HI next to the INPUT is the place where you can set your input value range.

In the centre of the TLI module are the CONTROLS, these are the parameters of your Logic Instrument.

Selecting one of these CONTROLS will automatically set the LO HI output to the correct range.

LO HI is output value range, it’s located between MODE and REVERSE.

TLI offers 3 modes: SCALED, RANDOM, SWITCH, no need to explain these.

REVERSE is only available when you use SCALED mode.

FILTER DUPE, when your input LO HI is > output LO -HI, this can be used to filter dupes.

You can choose if you want to filter your LEARNED IN message and OTHER messages, meta messages

are always filtered by the modules.

OUTPUT is the output monitor window.
